Request cancellation through the Contact Us page as soon as possible and include the order number.

• An order may generally be cancelled before it is packed or dispatched.
• Made-to-order, personalised, altered, or specially procured products cannot normally be cancelled once production or alteration has begun.
• After dispatch, the request will be handled under the return rules below.
• If we cancel an order after collecting payment, the captured amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Unless a product page states a different period, contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery to request a return. A return must be authorised before it is sent.

Eligible products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with original tags, accessories, packaging, authenticity material, and proof of purchase. Trying an item for fit is acceptable only where hygiene and product condition are not affected.

• Made-to-order, personalised, monogrammed, customised, stitched, or altered products.
• Products sold as final sale or specifically identified as non-returnable before purchase.
• Gift cards, downloadable or digital products, and services already performed.
• Hygiene-sensitive products, pierced jewellery, hair accessories, cosmetics, or intimate items after their protective seal or packaging has been opened.
• Products damaged by wear, misuse, improper care, alteration, or failure to follow care instructions.

This exclusion does not remove remedies available under law for defective, deficient, spurious, wrongly described, incorrect, or materially delayed products.

Contact us within 48 hours after delivery if an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what was ordered. Include the order number and clear photographs of the product, packaging, courier label, and damage. Retain all packaging until the request is resolved.

After verification, we may arrange replacement, exchange, repair where appropriate, or refund. Kala Jaaga will bear reasonable approved return-shipping costs for a verified damaged, defective, or incorrect product.

1. Submit a request through the Contact Us page with the order number, item, reason, and supporting images where applicable.
2. Wait for return approval and instructions. Do not send an unapproved parcel.
3. Pack the product securely with all original materials and dispatch it using the approved method.
4. We inspect the returned product after receipt and notify you of the decision.

For a change-of-mind or sizing return, approved return shipping is generally paid by the customer. Original delivery charges and non-recoverable payment or handling charges are not refunded unless the return results from our error or applicable law requires otherwise.

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method, ordinarily within 7–10 business days after inspection or cancellation approval. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

Cash-on-delivery refunds may require verified bank or UPI details supplied through a secure process. We will never request a card PIN, CVV, password, or OTP to issue a refund.

If a refund does not appear after the stated processing period, contact your bank first and then send us the order number and refund reference.

Exchanges depend on product eligibility and available stock. If the replacement costs more, the balance must be paid before dispatch. If it costs less, the difference will be refunded or otherwise resolved as agreed. Where an exchange is unavailable, an eligible return may be refunded.

This policy operates in addition to rights available under applicable Indian consumer law and does not limit any mandatory remedy.
